Meet Joanne: Founder (kick-butt human and graphic designer) behind High Five Creative.
Hi, I’m Joanne — a graphic designer based in Renfrew, Ontario, where I work, live and play! With nearly twenty years of design experience, I love working with entrepreneurs and community organizations! I founded High Five Creative to support local businesses with thoughtful, creative and modern designs. I take the time to really get to know the people behind the brands I work with and help them show up in the world with confidence and style.
I moved to Renfrew as a small child. Although adjusting to rural living was a challenge at first, I grew to appreciate the pace and spirit of the community. Living in the Ottawa Valley gives me the space to slow down and enjoy a more grounded lifestyle — something that fuels my creativity. The Ottawa Valley is also a wonderful place to raise a family with a strong sense of connection among many neighbours who look out for one another.
High Five is rooted in community, bringing a local perspective to design that reflects the values of small-town businesses. In the coming years, I want to deepen my involvement in the community by working on more local events and projects that support area growth.
