I am in love with where I live. Arnprior is the perfect little town for me. We have fantastic restaurants, storefronts and beautiful green spaces. Oh, and let's not forget about our amazing museum! One thing I've learned in my ten years here is that it is the people and their commitment to our community that make it special.

Urban Runaway develops collaborative initiatives that bring people together around causes that matter.

Our projects have supported organizations across the Ottawa Valley through community engagement, fundraising, education and partnership development. From the International Women's Day Supply Drive benefiting Bernadette McCann House to a regional women's event promoting breast health awareness in partnership with Arnprior Regional Health, the Community Sunset Series, Arnprior Pulse and community workshops, each initiative is designed to strengthen relationships, inspire collaboration and create lasting local impact.

Take the time to acquaint yourself with your neighbour.  

Even a small act, such as greeting your neighbour in the morning or offering to help clear their driveway following a snowstorm, can significantly contribute to fostering positive local engagement.
