I am in love with where I live. Arnprior is the perfect little town for me. We have fantastic restaurants, storefronts and beautiful green spaces. Oh, and let's not forget about our amazing museum! One thing I've learned in my nine years here is that it is the people and their commitment to our community that make it special.

Urban Runaway organizes events and workshops that cover a range of subjects, all centered on community-driven development and increasing awareness for social justice and advocacy across Renfrew County. The group also spearheads an annual community supply drive on International Women's Day, gathering thousands of vital care items that benefit local non-profit organizations.
Many of our members say that they feel a reduction of stress and sense of belonging after engaging with our community.
Even a small act, such as greeting your neighbour in the morning or offering to help clear their driveway following a snowstorm, can significantly contribute to fostering positive local engagement.
